'Jeffersons' actor Ned Wertimer dies

Character actor Ned Wertimer, known to fans of "The Jeffersons" as the doorman Ralph Hart, has died, CNN confirms. He was 89.

Wertimer made appearances in a wide variety of classic TV series, including "Mork and Mindy," "WKRP in Cincinnati" and "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," but he's perhaps best known for his work on "The Jeffersons."

Bieber: Trying to be better as questionable photos emerge

Justin Bieber is pledging to raise the bar as new photos alleging marijuana use have hit the Web.

In pictures posted by TMZ on January 4, the 18-year-old is seen holding what the site claims is marijuana while hanging out with other young adults in what appears to be a hotel room.

Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber call for change

In the wake of a traffic accident that took the life of a paparazzo, Miley Cyrus is backing up Justin Bieber's call for legislation.

The 20-year-old singer/actress, who's also frequently captured by paparazzi cameras as she goes about her daily activities, posted on Twitter Tuesday that the death of the photographer who died trying to take pictures of Bieber should be a turning point.

Band talks 'Pumped Up Kicks' post school shooting

In the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting, many radio stations have pulled Foster the People’s 2011 hit single “Pumped Up Kicks,” in which frontman Mark Foster sings about a school shooting.

Foster, told CNN he was inspired by teenage mental illness when he wrote the song, with lyrics like, “You'd better run, better run, outrun my gun ... you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.”

Rihanna lands first No. 1 album, Adele hits sales milestone

It's ladies ... er, day, on the Billboard charts, as both Rihanna and Adele have cause to celebrate.

For Rihanna, the seventh record was the charm and the 24-year-old singer now has her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with "Unapologetic." The album debuted at the top of the chart after its release last week.
