Kings of Leon’s Nathan Followill and wife Jessie Baylin have welcomed their first child.

Weighing in at 7 lbs and 13 ounces, their new daughter, Violet Marlowe Followill, was born in Nashville on Wednesday, a rep for the drummer confirmed to CNN.

Followill and Baylin, who were married in November 2009, first announced that they were expecting in June.

This is just one of many recent, personal milestones for Kings of Leon: Jared Followill wed Martha Patterson in September; Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge welcomed their daughter, Dixie Pearl, in June; and in May 2011, Matthew Followill and Johanna Bennett welcomed their son, Knox Cameron Patrick.

Jessica Simpson knows a picture is worth a thousand words.

The singer and fashion designer announced her first pregnancy in October 2011 when she tweeted a photo of herself dressed as a mummy – get it?!

Now, a mere six months after welcoming her daughter with Eric Johnson, Simpson has posted another telling image.

This time the photo isn’t of her belly, but her little bundle of joy, Maxwell Drew. Dressed in a festive red and white striped onesie, Maxwell appears alongside the words “Big sis,” which are written in the sand.

Simpson’s rep confirmed to CNN that the new mom is, in fact, expecting.

It might be time for another round of "guess Jessica Simpson's due date," if a new rumor is to be believed.

According to Us Weekly, Simpson and fiancè Eric Johnson are expecting a second child, seven months after they welcomed daughter Maxwell Drew.
