Simon Cowell's 'X Factor' returns: How was it?Simon Cowell is nothing if not persistent. After seasons 1 and 2 of "The X Factor" failed to produce a global star or a must-watch panel of judges, the T-shirt loving Brit is back with another retooled expert lineup. But in the eyes of some critics, not even the lovely Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio, who have joined returning judges Demi Lovato and Cowell, can save this show's flaws. Thankfully, Wednesday's hour-long season 3 premiere had bright spots of talent.

Demi Lovato thanks fans in wake of dad's deathDemi Lovato is embracing the support of her fans - a.k.a. Lovatics - in the wake of her father Patrick's passing. "I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers," Demi tweeted Sunday, as reports spread that her father had died. "God bless you all, thank you so much."

Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio join 'X Factor'Simon Cowell's "X Factor" is back at full capacity. As reports suggested, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are the Fox competition's two new judges. Rubio and Rowland will team up with Cowell and returning judge Demi Lovato when "X Factor" begins its third season this fall.

Kelly Rowland, Paulina Rubio in talks for 'X Factor'Singer Kelly Rowland has been openly enthusiastic about judging "The X Factor" in the U.S., and it looks like she might soon get her chance. According to several reports, the Destiny's Child crooner is in talks to join Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato at the judges' table when "X Factor" returns to Fox in the fall.

Britney Spears exits 'The X Factor'Simon Cowell now has another seat to fill on "The X Factor" as Britney Spears has officially quit the show. In a statement, the 31-year-old singer confirms the widespread reports that she's leaving the Fox singing competition after judging for one season. Her exit follows judge L.A. Reid's departure late last year. |
