New evidence on 'Pretty Little Liars'Best. Episode. Yet. Or, at least since the second half of season one picked up in January. It all began with the girls pondering Jenna’s potential motives for enlisting Caleb to spy on Hanna. Spencer zoned out, watching as people set up scary clown statues for the Founder’s Day festival outside the restaurant. (Why don't these soirees ever have happy themes, like puppies or rainbows?) A new suspect on 'Pretty Little Liars'This was a big week for our favorite pretty little liars. No, they didn’t find out who A is, if Jenna is actually blind, why Ian is such a creep, or anything else, for that matter. They did, however, see each of their love interests in a new light. (Hanna more so than the others, but I’ll get back to that.) Bad seeds on 'Pretty Little Liars'Of course Rosewood's high school would produce a play about an unsuspecting child killer. (Seriously, Fitz? You couldn’t have gone with a classic like “Our Town,” or perhaps a nice, upbeat musical like “Hairspray"?) Nonetheless, Jenna's pleased with Fitz’s decision to go with “The Bad Seed,” saying she’s “fascinated by the nature of evil.” Spencer walks downstairs the next morning to find Ian taping up boxes in the living room. He tells her Alison was nothing more than a psycho stalker who “wouldn’t take no for an answer.” But Spencer’s not buying it. 'Pretty Little Liars' channels 'Glee'Last night on “Pretty Little Liars,” Spencer discovered what the rest of us already knew, thanks to your comments and the Twitterverse. The Braille note Toby found in Jenna’s room actually reads “214,” not “BAD” like the girls previously assumed. On last week’s recap, commenter alex costa wrote: “The #214 … must represent the hotel room number that Ian and Alison stayed at in North Carolina.” 'Pretty Little Liars': 'Vive la Liars'This week on “Pretty Little Liars,” it was Aria’s parents who were doing most of the lying. I understand they’re hesitant to jump back in love with both feet, but don’t lie to your children about it - if for no other reason than because they will follow you to school after hours and spy on you in the library. After the girls are done watching Ella and Byron make out behind the history section, they find a wad of cash and a handful of cell phones hiding in a nearby vent. 'Pretty Little Liars': The eyes are the window to the soulBe honest, ABC Family - do you even know who A is? With so many clues, cryptic notes and possible motives uncovered in each new episode, how is it possible that we still have no idea who the culprit is? More confusing than that is the fact that the characters on my list of potential As - Jenna, Mona, Melissa and Ian - don’t even appear in every episode. What are they doing when they’re not on screen? Digitally blackmailing their frenemies? Taping money to paper towels in bakery bathrooms, perhaps? |
