'Gossip Girl' series finale: Mystery blogger revealed[Editor's Note: This post contains spoilers for the series finale of "Gossip Girl."] After six seasons, "Gossip Girl" finally got down to the business of revealing the (real) identity of the titular anonymous blogger on Monday's series finale. But if you watched the pilot of "Gossip Girl" closely back in 2007, or saw who showed up first to meet Serena in the second season finale, then you might've already guessed who it was.

Katie Holmes falls for Chace Crawford in new comedyKatie Holmes may be married to an older man in real life, but she's set to play a cougar in the upcoming comedy "Responsible Adults." According to Deadline, Holmes will star as Liz Quinn, a 30-year-old med student who falls head-over-heels for charming 22-year-old Baxter, to be played by "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford. Just as things begin to heat up between the two, Liz realizes that she has met Baxter before. In fact, she used to be his babysitter just 15 years earlier!

Leighton Meester channels Carrie, Taylor in 'Country Strong'Leighton Meester may be known for playing Upper East Side schemer Blair Waldorf on the CW’s “Gossip Girl,” but the 24-year-old actress had to rustle up some country charm for her role in the upcoming movie, “Country Strong.” Meester stars alongside Gwyneth Paltrow in the film about a rehabilitating country singer (Paltrow) who’s trying to make a comeback amidst the competition: Meester’s Chiles Stanton. In order to get a little bit country, Meester - who has showcased her vocal talents on songs like "Somebody to Love" – turned to some of the genre's top sellers.

Gunn, the typically measured host of the Bravo reality fashion design competition, didn’t mince words about his experience working with Taylor Momsen, 17, while he was shooting his guest appearance on The CW's "Gossip Girl." “What a diva!" Gunn said to E! News of the singer/actress, who plays the wayward Jenny Humphrey on the soapy series. “She was pathetic, she couldn't remember her lines, and she didn't even have that many. I thought to myself 'why are we all being held hostage by this brat?"

Chace Crawford: Spotlight doesn't stop me from partyingTalk about bad timing. Hot on the heels of Chace Crawford’s Friday arrest for marijuana possession comes a new interview in which he talks about pot and partying. The Dallas native, who was arrested in a Texas parking lot, told Los Angeles Confidential magazine that playing a drug dealer in the upcoming movie "Twelve" was “a complete departure for me… he’s almost forced to sell marijuana, and he doesn’t even know what he’s doing. He’s in over his head.” |
