After last week’s action-packed episode, Sunday's “Ging Gang Goolie” was just plain weird, due mostly in part to the creepiness that is Gillian Darmody, a.k.a. Mama Jimmy.

'Boardwalk Empire': Lost in translation

After last week’s episode, the big question going into “Bone for Tuna” was, how would Nucky Thompson respond to Gyp Rosetti’s antics?

Well, to answer that question, he did and he made it worse.

'Boardwalk Empire': Gyp, guns and 'Spaghetti'

[This post contains spoilers for the September 23 episode of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."]

If there’s one thing I learned after watching last night’s “Spaghetti and Coffee,” it’s that Nucky Thompson is whipped and it’s going to be bad for business.

He needs to put his game face on, because Gyp Rosetti is already playing hard ball.
