President Obama weighs in on Nicki/Mariah beefThe blowout between "American Idol" judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj was bad enough to draw the attention of President Obama, apparently. During a recent call on "The Yo! Show," the president was asked about the "Idol" drama, which revolved around a contentious and curse-laden exchange between Minaj and Carey. But for Obama, those fighting words don't signal an irreparable relationship.

Stevie Nicks 'truly sorry' she said she'd strangle Nicki MinajThe "American Idol" feud between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj seemed to be sidelined after the show's producers gave a very loving statement about their new judges ... but that was before Stevie Nicks threw in her two cents. Speaking to The Daily, Nicks, who served as a coach to "Idol" contestants last season, gave a (very) strong reaction to Minaj's outburst during "Idol" auditions last week.

'Idol' producers speak on Carey, Minaj disputeAfter all of the accusations that have emerged from last week's spat between "American Idol" judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, one might think that the producers would be less optimistic about their new panel. But in a statement, the production team for the Fox singing competition is unfailingly optimistic, calling their lineup - which also includes Keith Urban, and longtime judge Randy Jackson - "one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had."

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey caught in taped tiffWe've heard plenty about the rumored bubbling feud between new "American Idol" judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey, but now TMZ appears to have captured some evidence. The website's obtained video of "Idol's" auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Tuesday, which were reportedly interrupted when Minaj blew up at Carey at the judges' table.

Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj: We're getting along 'wonderfully'The speculation that Mariah Carey was not pleased with Fox's decision to bring Nicki Minaj on as another new judge began weeks before the network actually confirmed it, so we're not surprised that there are new rumors suggesting that the two are in the midst of a feud. But according to Carey, a real feud would take much longer to develop than the time she's had with Minaj. |
