Jennifer Lopez honored with GLAAD awardJennifer Lopez's ABC Family show "The Fosters" has been honored as great entertainment, and as groundbreaking TV. At GLAAD's 25th media awards ceremony on Saturday, the 44-year-old singer/actress/"American Idol" judge was honored with the Vanguard award in recognition of her support of the LGBT community. Currently, Lopez executive produces the ABC Family drama that revolves around a multiracial lesbian couple who are parents to a brood that includes biological, adopted and foster children.

Lo, Aretha Franklin weigh in on Beyonce-gateWhile the world awaits final word from Queen Bey herself on whether her Inauguration Day performance was truly a fake-out, other singers are coming to her defense. Or, finding humor in the situation, if said singer's name happens to be Aretha Franklin. Jennifer Lopez took up for Beyonce when she visited "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Tuesday, explaining (as many before her did that day) that lip-syncing is far from uncommon.

What's next for Jennifer Lopez?Without a new season of "American Idol" to pencil in her calendar, Jennifer Lopez is eyeing some studio time. The actress and singer told CNN Tuesday while discussing her new crime thriller, "Parker," that the past few years haven't allowed for extra time to put toward her career. “With 'Idol' I had that for two years, and right before that, you know, it was like baby time [with twins Max and Emme], and I wasn’t doing as much," the 43-year-old said. "But now I’m back to it. Now, look out!”

Don't be fooled by the rock: J.Lo isn't engagedWhile Jennifer Lopez's jewelry might hint otherwise, the 43-year-old star isn't engaged. Lopez was spotted in Paris this week with daughter Emme, 4, boyfriend Casper Smart, 25, and an awfully conspicuous ring.
