'Twilight Saga's' Renesmee unveiled

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson look way too young to be parents in a new photo of the pair as their "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" alter-egos, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.

But then again, they're (now both) vampires who became immortal in their late teens, and again once more, their daughter Renesmee is a human-vampire hybrid who practically ages in dog years. Mackenzie Foy, the actress who plays the vampire couple's daughter in the final "Twilight Saga" film, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," is actually 11 years old.

'Twilight' author hasn't read 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Believe it or not, Stephenie Meyer, the woman behind the vampire romance series “Twilight,” says she hasn’t read the popular book trilogy “Fifty Shades of Grey," which has its roots in "Twilight" fan fiction.

But that connection still didn't tempt her to pick up the books, as Meyer says she's just not into racy reads.

"I haven't read it. I mean, that's really not my genre, not my thing," she told MTV about British author E.L. James’ runaway success, which was recently optioned into a movie. "I've heard about it; I haven't really gotten into it that much. Good on her - she's doing well. That's great!"

'Breaking Dawn - Part II' teaser: Bella, the vampire

For the past four installments of the "Twilight" movie series, Bella Swan always had to be saved/protected by her vampire love, Edward Cullen.

But in the fifth and final film, Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) can now do some fighting of her own - because as a teaser trailer reveals, she's successfully become a vampire.

"After 18 years of being utterly ordinary," Bella says, "I finally found that I can shine."

Could the 'Twilight' saga continue?

Now that Lionsgate has acquired Summit Entertainment, the top exec at the studio is hoping that Summit Entertainment's "Twilight Saga" franchise has a bit more life left in it.

Adapted from Stephenie Meyer's four-book fiction series, "The Twilight Saga" was broken out into five films, with the fifth, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," arriving in theaters this November.

And although that would signal the end of Bella and Edward's tale being translated to film, the chief executive of Lionsgate appears nonetheless optimistic that they'll somehow be able to extend the story.

Fake People cover claims Taylor Lautner's 'out and proud'

You won't see the People magazine cover featuring "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner, along with the headline "Out and Proud," at the newsstand. It's a fake.

The image bears the celebrity magazine's title logo across the top, with 19-year-old Lautner brooding below it in a leather jacket and jeans.

The "exclusive" cover story claims that Lautner is "tired of rumors," and that readers could expect for him to open up "about his decision to finally come out." Dated to look like a January 7, 2012 issue of the mag, a quote on the cover has Lautner saying, "I'm more liberated, and happier than I've ever been."

'Breaking Dawn' passes $500 million mark

It’s not quite a surprise, but the latest "Twilight" movie’s box office take is impressive nonetheless: “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I” has raked in more than $508 million worldwide, the BBC reports.

According to the film’s distributor, Summit Entertainment, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are drawing considerable crowds.

Out of the worldwide gross, $223 million was made in North American movie theaters, and “Breaking Dawn - Part 1” is the top movie in the UK and the US after its second week in theaters.
