Kristen Stewart's new movie set in GuantanamoKristen Stewart has lined up two new indie projects, one of which will see the actress suit up as a soldier. According to Deadline, the 23-year-old former "Twilight" star is set to portray a young woman who joins the military as an exit strategy from her small town, but she gets sent to fulfill her duty at Guantanamo Bay rather than Iraq, where she thought she was headed.

Grumpy Cat's going HollywoodGrumpy Cat's ready for her closeup. According to reports, the feline famous for her sourpuss could soon have a movie built around her. Entertainment Weekly describes it as a "Garfield"-esque tale in which Grumpy Cat - real name, Tardar Sauce - would have the ability to speak.

Jon Stewart finds lead for directorial debutWhile John Oliver keeps "The Daily Show" running this summer, Jon Stewart will be off working with Gael Garcia Bernal. According to The Wrap, the 34-year-old actor has been tapped to star in Stewart's "Rosewater," which is based on the book "Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story of Love, Captivity and Survival" by journalist Maziar Bahari.

Tom Cruise signs on for 'Mission: Impossible 5'Tom Cruise has signed on for a fifth "Mission: Impossible" movie. Paramount announced in a press release Tuesday that the 50-year-old actor will return to the franchise as Ethan Hunt, a role he first played in 1996. |
