Kim Kardashian caused tongues to cluck after she declared that she thinks Indian food is "disgusting" on Sunday's "Keeping Up with the Kardashians"  - and it seems some took it as a diss to Indian people and culture overall.

But Kimmy K. insists ruffling feathers was not her intent, issuing a statement Tuesday on her blog designed to clean up the verbal mess.

“In NO way was this intended as an insult to the Indian people or their culture. This is just my own personal taste," she wrote.

To prove her point, she added that it's not the only cuisine she doesn't crave.

“I hate cilantro and peppers, and there are definitely some Armenian foods that I personally find disgusting, but that doesn’t reflect my opinions on other Armenian people or my culture,” she said. “My comment wasn’t intended to offend anybody. We all have our own opinions and tastes and I was simply expressing mine.”

Kim Kardashian apparently isn't immune to the breakup-related shift in physique.

The celebutante and reality show star, who's going through a rough divorce with pro baller Kris Humphries, told Us Weekly she recently lost 6 pounds in just 7 days.

"I'm on a mission," she explained. "I figure, I'm single. Now is the best time to get in shape."

If Kim Kardashian ever brings charges against the woman who flour-bombed her at an L.A. event last week, it seems PETA is planning to side with the powder perpetrator.

The woman, who ambushed Kardashian on the red carpet of her fragrance launch this past Thursday, reportedly called her a “fur hag” before dousing her with what was said to be cooking flour.

PETA has denied any involvement with the incident, but a rep for the organization told CNN in a statement that they could back the woman if she desired their aid.

Kim Kardashian got  more than she bargained for when she hit the red carpet Thursday in Hollywood.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, the reality-show star was doing interviews outside the London Hotel in West Hollywood when a woman walked up and doused her with what the police report referred to as "powder." The substance was reportedly believed to be a bag of cooking flour.

The unidentified woman was detained by the hotel’s security and held until authorities arrived. FULL POST
