Camille Grammer: I'm keeping Kelsey's last name“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer joined “Showbiz Tonight” on the red carpet for the “Road to Gold” on Sunday as the stars began to arrive for the Oscars. Grammer is no stranger to attending a high-pressure situation, and recalled what it was like to walk the red carpet at last year's Tony awards with former spouse Kelsey Grammer, even though they were in the midst of a break-up. “Once we got out of the limo, the cameras start, and you just smile. You smile and you make your way through it. I made the best of it,” the reality star said. "Certain interviewers were asking questions, and I kept saying to Kelsey, we've been married for 13 wonderful years, and we love each other so much, isn't this wonderful Kels?"

Russell Brand brings mum for red carpet walkNewlyweds Russell Brand and Katy Perry clearly have at least one thing in common: They're both big fans of bringing along family members to big red carpet events. At the 53rd annual Grammy awards, Perry brought along her grandmother, and at Sunday's 83rd annual Academy Awards, Russell Brand strolled down the red carpet alongside his mother. While you could say she was his date, Brand will quickly correct you: "We’re not dating…there are literally laws against that," he told CNN. Tonight, she's his "companion." And if there's anyone who knows Brand's particular brand of humor, it's his mom. "I’m incredibly proud [of him]," she told CNN. And when it comes to his occasionally outlandish remarks, they don't surprise her. "To me, he’s playing a character," she said. Plus, "He’s funny."

No 'Fight' between Amy Adams and Melissa Leo"The Fighter" star Melissa Leo is going up against her co-star Amy Adams for the best supporting actress Oscar at Sunday's Academy Awards, but Leo told CNN that there isn't a bit of competition between the two. Their battle for Oscar is "completely friendly," Leo said. "No competition whatsoever." The actress added that Adams "was an angel by my side" while the two were filming. "I learned all kinds of things about acting, about life."

Academy Awards helps films at box officeThe buzz surrounding the Oscars is helping the nominated films at the box office. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The King's Speech" has earned more than $200 million worldwide, followed closely by "Black Swan" and "True Grit." Meanwhile, "The Social Network" surpassed that milestone in January and "The Fighter" has made more than $100 million. "It's pretty impressive what the Academy dramas have done, and not just in the U.S. but all over the world," Sony Pictures Entertainment vice chair Jeff Blake told THR. Could this mean more of the same kind of cinema in the future? Perhaps. "The stunning box-office performance of small awards films this season has rocked the conventional thinking in Hollywood," THR notes, "prompting many to speculate on whether studios will rush to release more adult dramas." Will you be catching any of the nominated films this weekend in anticipation of Sunday night's telecast of the Academy Awards?

Gervais writes Oscars jokes for Franco and HathawayControversial comedian Ricky Gervais may never be asked to host the Academy Awards, but he knows just how he wants things to play out when James Franco and Anne Hathaway do the honors at Sunday night's ceremony. Gervais, who made headlines for his celebrity-skewering jokes at the Golden Globes, took to his blog recently and scripted some banter for Franco and Hathaway "in case they have a few minutes to fill" during their opening monologue. As expected, much of it isn't exactly family friendly. Below, a few excerpts from Gervais' proposed Hathaway/Franco monologue:
