Ricky Gervais' David Brent is getting his own movie

Three seasons and fourteen episodes just isn't enough to contain a personality like David Brent's from "The Office."

The laughably awful boss, whom Ricky Gervais played on the original, U.K. version of "The Office," is now getting his own movie.

The BBC reports that the movie will be called "Life on the Road," and will chronicle what Brent's been up to in the years since he left "The Office" behind. Apparently, as one youthful correspondent would say, Brent has become a traveling salesman who dreams of making it as a rock musician.

The movie is expected to go into production next year, and, while it'll be made in the U.K., should have worldwide distribution.
