Cory Monteith remembered by 'Glee' castThe cast of "Glee" was coping with a lot of loss this weekend. As the actors supported co-star Becca Tobin in the recent death of her boyfriend, Matt Bendik, they were also marking the one-year anniversary of the death of star Cory Monteith.
On July 13 last year, Monteith was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver. A coroner later ruled the death accidental, with the cause being "mixed drug toxicity" from heroin and alcohol. Like Bendik, Monteith was also 31. In honor of their late co-star, the cast of "Glee" shared a number of tributes with their fans. "We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always," actress Lea Michele, who dated Monteith on and off the show, tweeted Sunday, as other messages poured in: |
