  • Not long ago, James Franco posted a selfie that was so risque being fully nude would've been safer. As he explained to David Letterman, he's only doing it for his fans: "It's what the people want!"

'Community' among series that get the axe

Fans of NBC's beloved comedy "Community" were so achingly close to the fabled six seasons and a movie, but it was not to be.

On Friday, just before next week's upfronts (in which the new fall schedules are announced for advertisers), "Community" was one of a slew of shows canceled and renewed by the networks.

Cast and creators took to Twitter to confirm the sad news and thank the fans and their colleagues for five seasons.

This Mother's Day, Gwyneth Paltrow is hoping parents all over the world can just get along.

The actress and mother of two has faced criticism for a prior statement she made about being famous and a parent at the same time, saying that she has a "one movie a year" rule so her work doesn't infringe on raising her kids Apple, 9, and Moses, 8.

So when it comes to Zoe Saldana's "Rosemary's Baby" miniseries, airing on NBC in two parts on May 11 and May 15, the actress says she has three reasons for signing up - and one of the biggest ones is Paris.
