New 'Private Benjamin,' 'Flintstones' comingAnd the reboots just keep on coming. The Wrap reports that "Pitch Perfect" actress Rebel Wilson is set to star in an update of the 1980 comedy "Private Benjamin." Though the original starred Goldie Hawn as a spoiled and recently widowed Jewish woman, that's not going to be Wilson's character. She'll appear as a "redneck" who joins forces with "a rich city girl who get more than they bargained for when they enlist in the Marines to escape their present situations," according to the publication. That's not the only oldie-but-goodie making a return. According to Variety, Warner Bros. has an animated film based on the iconic series "The Flintstones" in development. The studio has reportedly hired Will Ferrell's production partner, Chris Henchy, to write the script. The announcement comes 20 years after the live-action version of "The Flintstones" was released, with John Goodman as the patriarch of the modern Stone Age family.
