Third 'Sharnkado' brewing, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Syfy is clearly uber-confident about how "Sharknado 2" will perform this July, as the network has already ordered a third round of inclement, shark-infested weather. [EW]
  • Is that Frank Underwood we hear? Or is Kevin Spacey just messing with us? A new so-called leaked audio clip features Spacey channeling the spirit of his sinister "House of Cards" character to tease a new, unspecified project. But what? [Complex]
  • Future beat out Iggy Azalea on Billboard's album chart, but both rappers were bested by Disney's "Frozen" soundtrack, which is still No. 1 for a 12th week. [Billboard]
  • This is the Backstreet Boys/New Kids on the Block crossover you've been waiting for. Nick Carter and Jordan Knight have joined boy band forces to create the kind of unfortunately titled duo Nick and Knight. []
  • For those frustrated by the lack of women cast in the new "Star Wars: Episode VII," there's hope: casting may not be done yet. [THR]
  • Andrew Garfield is absolutely adorable and we can see why Emma Stone can't help but gush that she loves him very much.
