New 'Fault In Our Stars' trailer, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • The new extended trailer for June's "Fault In Our Stars" adaptation is witty, moving, and will probably make you cry:
  • To go along with "The Leftovers'" new premiere date of June 29 (it was previously announced as June 15), HBO has unveiled a new trailer:

  • The whodunit on "Game of Thrones" has been solved! Did you guess correctly who offed the Bastard? (And we mean that in the literal use, of course). [NYT]
  • While the script is smartly funny we don't think of "Masters of Sex" as a comedy. But it's latest casting choice would make you believe differently: the Showtime series has added Sarah Silverman for its second season. [THR]
  • Today, in Selena Gomez rumors: "Are Orlando Bloom and Gomez 'revenge screwing'"? [TMZ]
  • Adding a layer of grit to that gossip is the fact that Justin Bieber's new song is called "Hard2FaceReality."

Fox to stage 'Grease' musical for 2015

Well, we suppose there are worse things Fox could do.

The network has announced that its planning to stage a televised live production of "Grease" in 2015, seemingly not unlike what NBC pulled off with "The Sound of Music Live!" last year.

John Oliver's new HBO show starts strong

John Oliver has jumped into his new late night comedy show with both feet.

The former "Daily Show" correspondent debuted on HBO Sunday with "Last Week Tonight," and while the opener has drawn the inevitable "Daily Show" comparisons most say Oliver's off to a running start. (It doesn't hurt that 1.1 million tuned in for the debut.)

'Justice League' movie a go with Zack Snyder directing

The long-rumored "Justice League" movie is becoming a reality.

Warner Bros.' president of worldwide production has confirmed to the Wall Street Journal that the studio has definite plans set for a Justice League film, with two DC Comics execs confirming the news.
