Today's talk you might've missed:
- First came news of a "Peeps" movie, and then all hell broke loose. On Wednesday, movie fans were faced with the knowledge that while one filmmaker is trying to turn the pastel-colored candy into an animated film and TV property, John Turteltaub is going to direct an "It's A Small World" adaptation as Sony gets to work a live action comedy starring Barbie. As in Barbie, the doll. Oh and by the way: there's a Flash Gordon movie in the works, too. [Deadline/THR]
- Katy Perry's "Birthday" pranks may be putting off future fans. When she crashed a five-year-old's birthday party dressed as a clown for her upcoming music video, she legitimately terrified the kid. [TMZ]
- We're starting to think Julia Louis-Dreyfus has an exhibitionist streak. After her nude (and erroneous) photo shoot with Rolling Stone, JLD has taken her comedy to the pages of GQ, which photographed her pretending to have sex with a clown. [GQ]
- Kim Kardashian is her own No. 1 fan. The reality star was spotted buying a thick stack of Vogue magazines bearing her image. [Us Weekly]
- Somehow, some way, "Frozen" is still being bought by several people - enough to put it at No. 1 for its 11th week in a row. And here's the kicker: this was its biggest sales week since its release in November. [USA Today]
