Kirstie Alley joins Jenny Craig again

For her latest weight loss effort, Kirstie Alley is turning to an old friend: Jenny Craig.

The 63-year-old actress is once again a spokeswoman for the weight loss company that once helped her lose 75 pounds when she first began working with the organization in 2004.

And although it's been roughly seven years since Alley parted ways with Jenny Craig, in a TV spot the actress sounds right at home asking for help.

"I'm not like, circus fat, I just want to lose 20 pounds," Alley says in the ad - or is that 30 pounds she's hoping to lose?

Either way, this bout with Jenny Craig will see Alley also promoting her own line of wellness products, Organic Liaison.

Since she vacated her position as a Jenny Craig spokeswoman in 2007, Alley's struggled to maintain her weight. She'd gain, then lose, and then gain again - according to People magazine, the actress put on 30 pounds in the past six months.

"I was good for a while and then I wasn’t good, and the weight crept up," she tells People. "Like I say in the ad, I'm not circus fat. I didn’t hugely screw up. I didn’t gain 75. I gained 30."

Her goal, she adds, is "to get myself where I feel cocky again."
