Lady Gaga and Bill Murray meet on 'Letterman'

Bill Murray can cross meeting Lady Gaga off his bucket list.

"The Grand Budapest Hotel" star has always wanted to meet the extravagantly clothed New Yorker, and on "The Late Show with David Letterman" Wednesday, Gaga and Letterman made Murray's dream come true.

Since Gaga was already in town for a string of performances at New York's Roseland Ballroom, she stopped by "The Late Show" to hang out with Murray for a bit.

Like the smart man that he is, Murray went in for the selfie to memorialize the moment.

"I can't believe you kids haven't met," Letterman said.

To make Murray's first Gaga meeting even more spectacular, Gaga invited the actor, Letterman and his studio audience over to Roseland for her live show.
