Kanye, Jack White plot new albums, and more news to note

Today's talk you might've missed:

  • Kanye West is anxious to release a new studio album this year and is willing to postpone his tour of Australia to pull it off. Meanwhile, Jack White is going to drop his latest, "Lazaretto," on June 10. [Sydney Morning Herald/Billboard]
  • Speaking of Kanye, have you seen this photo of his fiancee getting chased away by an elephant in Thailand? Here's what really makes it worth your while: it was mid-selfie. [Us Weekly]
  • The Rolling Stones will roll on with their tour in May. The band, which has been supporting Mick Jagger after the death of his girlfriend L'Wren Scott, is planning to play in Norway on May 26, their first performance since Scott's passing. [THR]
  • "The Walking Dead" slaughtered Sunday night's ratings race, pulling in an astounding 15.7 million viewers for season 4's finale. [Variety]
  • In "Sex Tape," the new movie that just released a NSFW  red-band trailer, Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel play a couple who are rich enough to give out multiple iPads as gifts but not smart enough to know not to sync them. [HitFix]
  • When it comes to the messy finale of "How I Met Your Mother," it looks like Josh Radnor sums it up best: "Who knows? It's weird to speculate on something that isn't actually real." [NYMag's Vulture]
