Jimmy Kimmel challenges Ellen's selfie recordEllen DeGeneres has star power, but Jimmy Kimmel has political clout. After the daytime talk show host crafted the most-retweeted selfie at the 2014 Oscars, everyone from a Texan with two dogs to Homer Simpson has tried to steal her thunder.
Needless to say, no one has yet beat DeGeneres' record-breaking number of retweets. So late night personality Jimmy Kimmel decided to enter the challenge with his own set of famous faces: the Clintons. On Saturday night, Kimmel shared a photo of himself and several others with the three-member family that occupied the White House 20 years ago: former President Bill Clinton, his wife (and later Secretary of State) Hillary Clinton, and their daughter, Chelsea. "No Brad Cooper but 3 Clintons & a Kimmel," he tweeted to DeGeneres, who's yet to respond. So far, Kimmel's "groupie" hasn't come close to the 3 million-plus retweets DeGeneres' photo received: |
