Today's talk you might've missed:

• It's been far too long since we've seen Ryan Gosling on screen, don't you agree? That's why we're keeping our fingers crossed that he does decide to star in a biopic of famed choreographer and director Busby Berkeley, a flick Gosling's already on board to produce. [The Guardian]

• Leave it to Justin Timberlake to make us all misty with a music video. For his new single "Not A Bad Thing," he took the spotlight off himself and put it on an actual guy who proposed to his girlfriend with the song on a train in January. Timberlake hasn't been able to find the couple, so he used Ellen DeGeneres to help him search:

• Don't be deceived by the TV, kids. Washington D.C. isn't nearly as steamy and salacious as it is on "Scandal" and "House of Cards," so says President Obama on "Ellen." Of greater importance is the President's commitment to excellent TV, from "Homeland" to "HOC." We've got to remember to invite him to our viewing parties!  [Vanity Fair]
• The CW's new sci-fi series "The 100" is one worth checking out. It's received strong reviews and premiered to even better ratings ... well, for the CW, anyway. The new show got more premiere viewers than any of the network's new shows this season with 2.6 million tuning in. [EW]
• As much as we enjoy "Entourage," we can not abide by Jeremy Piven speaking ill of Benedict Cumberbatch. Thankfully, Piven was joking when he called the Brit "Sherlock" star a "Cumberb****" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday. [THR]
• Two things: One, young Bradley Cooper is amazing. Two, we know Louis C.K. is somewhere laughing his goatee off right now.
