See? Problem solved.

The film, directed by "The Help's" Tate Taylor, stars Chadwick Boseman as the legendary Godfather of Soul. The 2014 release covers the musician's life from his impoverished childhood to his incredible (and influential) success as an adult.

In addition to Boseman, who portrayed another boundary-breaking figure, Jackie Robinson, in last spring's "42," "Get On Up" will star some familiar faces from director Taylor's prior film.

Check out Boseman and the other members of The CNN 10: Fresh Faces

Viola Davis has been cast in the project as Brown's mother, Susie, and Octavia Spencer plays his aunt, Honey.

Produced by Brian Grazer and Mick Jagger, among others, "Get On Up" arrives in theaters August 1.

I hope the movie covers his role in stopping the riots in Boston after MLK was killed...I remember my father telling me how he stayed in Overtown in Miami when you needed a card to even work over on South Beach, Fl. He was one for the people. Legendary with or without this movie. Going to see this one ... no doubt! #blackcinema

One would think that the most important component to casting this role is not name/face recognition, but the person's ability to dance. There's not a single scene in that trailer that shows that guy dancing... The one shot of the character dancing, its obviously a stand-in.
