Golden Globes replay: The hitsThe Golden Globes got off to a colorful start on Sunday night, beginning with the red carpet. For some reason, stylists and their celebrity clients were apparently still feeling the holiday spirit: two of the top three color trends we spotted were red and green. ![]()
Some ladies broke with the trend, though, like Jennifer Lawrence: ![]() And Julia Roberts, although no one really liked her dress: ![]() The baby bumps were also popping on the red carpet, with Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde and Kerry Washington showing off their growing bellies in different ways: ![]() During the awards ceremony, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler rocked it, as per usual. But they had some help from the just-as-funny Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who took part in their bit during the opening monologue: ![]() She was then upstaged by Emma Thompson, whose drinks-in-one-hand, shoes-in-another stage takeover as she introduced the best screenplay nominees was ah-mah-zing. We love that she took better care of her drink than her shoes when she had to get the envelope to announce the winner: ![]() The seating arrangements were crazy last night, meaning nearly every winner had to practically crawl over tables in order to get to the stage. Robin Wright had to break out into a run to get her award for "House of Cards": ![]() And then there was Jared Leto, who gave one of our favorite acceptance speeches of the night - mostly because of his man-bun, but his cracks about waxing and not using a prosthetic were also entertaining. All in all, a solid night. What'd you think? ![]() |

So...no new articles to peruse in a few days....hello CNN interns...where are you?
Emma Thompson is just asking for it. She looks like a money shot catcher
False advertising: I saw an ad for golden globes and there isnt one tlt in this thread
...worth looking at
Here's one for you ( o )
Nice – thanks!
I see The Edge wore his formal skull cap.
And Access Hollywood's on-camera style guru said white would be the color of the night because that was what showed up on the Paris runways this season. FAIL!
And TY for the information @ Jennifer.
It suprised me when the Pappa Legba guy said Fiona had no soul. Now she's letting on she'll just kill off everyone. She is m e a n.
shoe – I can't type. : )
I was at the Globes with Troll Buster. Lol on Tracie.
Whatever rupert, or tracie, or just plain obnoxious troll. Just stop.
I drank out of Emma Thompson's shoes, after she crapped in them.
Firsty ! I'm soooooo firsty.
I'm mostly firsty for The a Walking Dead and Boardwalk Empire to start back. Also ready for Wednesday to see American Horror Story. Those sure are good shows.
I started watching American horror story this season. What is going to happen to that dead guy from the casket. Does he walk around for the rest of his dead life now? That witch is going to freek when she comes to in his casket. She was the dead one brought back to life though wasn't she? I haven't seen walking dead. How many seasons am I behind and can I catch up by tuning in now? And we ain't talking about the golden globes. Guess it don't matter on this blog anyhow.
Me too. I bet Misty Day is going to be suprised waking up in the casket. The girl Fiona killed would have been able to hear and rescue her, but she's drowned now. This is the best season so far. This is its 3rd season. The first two were ok but this one is GREAT.
Yea and who is that dude Fiona is with in death, the devil?
My bad. The girl Fiona killed.
Avcirding to the shoe, he is Papa Legba. I think he is kind if the guardian of the afterlife, maybe. I think he decides who gets to live and who dies. Kind if like the guardian if the afterlife in Greek mythology. I'm just guessing tho. Wikipedia says: In Haitian Vodou, Papa Legba is the loa who serves as the intermediary between the loa and humanity. He stands at a spiritual crossroads and gives (or denies) permission to speak with the spirits of Guinee, and is believed to speak all human languages.
Okay, I get it. What about the dead dude cruising the cemetery? Think he'll find his way home? Scare the sh!t out of his family, eh? LMAO
