Jennifer Lawrence, Kimye are 2013's 'Most Fascinating'

For her final "Most Fascinating People" special, Barbara Walters has recruited some blazing hot talent.

The veteran journalist, who's planning to retire next summer, has unveiled nine of the 10 people who have made her list of the "10 Most Fascinating People of the Year."

During the 90-minute special, Walters will pick the brains of "(It) Girl on Fire" Jennifer Lawrence, cultural "Wrecking Ball" Miley Cyrus, and the one couple that no one could get away from this year: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

Those two - a.k.a. Kimye - are evidently the States' version of royalty, as they've even managed to outshine Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. The regal Brits didn't make the "Most Fascinating" list this year, although their infant son, Prince George, did.

Now in its 21st year, Walters' "Most Fascinating People" special will also include ABC's Robin Roberts; former NSA contractor Edward Snowden; the stars of "Duck Dynasty" (Walters is often intrigued by reality TV); Pope Francis; and swimmer Diana Nyad.

As usual, Walters will reveal her No. 1 pick for the most fascinating person of 2013 during the broadcast, which this year will air on ABC December 18 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
