Eminem's childhood home damaged in fireEminem's childhood home, which is featured on the cover of the rapper's latest album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," has been damaged in a fire. According to multiple reports, firefighters arrived at the two-story Detroit property on Thursday evening to put out a blaze. The vacant bungalow, which sits on Dresden Street not far from 8 Mile Rd., reportedly sustained damage to its second floor. Firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to the rest of the home. Officials are unclear as to how the fire began around 6:20 p.m. Thursday. The most recent owner of the 747-square foot home is the Michigan Land Bank. |
