Anna Gunn lines up post-'Breaking Bad' project

After facing so much drama on "Breaking Bad," Anna Gunn's looking to lighten the mood.

The Emmy-winning actress has lined up a post-"Breaking Bad" role, and it's on Mindy Kaling's Fox comedy, "The Mindy Project."

According to E!, Gunn, 45, will portray the "Tory Burch of Manhattan OB/GYNs," Sheila Hamilton, who is an icon to Kaling's character, Dr. Mindy Lahiri.

Gunn's scheduled to appear in the half-hour show's 13th episode, when she's expected to try and steal Dr. Lahiri away from her practice. Kaling, of course, is a proven "Breaking Bad" addict, so she's surely thrilled by this casting news.

Gunn herself has been hoping to show her comedic side, as she told Entertainment Weekly after "Breaking Bad" wrapped earlier this fall.

"I’m looking at just some really interesting different character roles that would be a complete 180 from Skyler that would allow me to really stretch and show my range and show colors and things that I haven’t been able to in the past few years," she told the magazine.
