'DWTS': Snooki cries over elimination

After escaping judgment last week, contestants on "Dancing With the Stars" had to face the music Monday night.

And when it came down to it, a sultry samba wasn't enough to save the "Jersey Shore's" Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi. Although Snooks earned a 27 for her routine with pro partner Sasha Farber - and out-scored the other pair in peril, Bill Engvall and Emma Slater, she wound up being the latest celebrity sent home from "DWTS."

The visibly emotional reality star frankly told CNN backstage that she was upset about her elimination.

"I'm sad, this sucks. I love everybody," she said. "I definitely wasn't ready to leave. ... This whole experience was amazing."

Judging from the supportive tweet from her "DWTS" competitor, Amber Riley, Snooki will be missed as well.

"You are so amazing," the "Glee" star said after Snooki's surprising elimination. "A great mom and a beautiful woman inside and out! So glad the world got to see what we all saw everyday!"

Were you surprised to see Snooki get the boot, or did you see it coming?

By the way, if you're a Cher fan, don't miss next week's "DWTS" - the singer's going to fill in for Len Goodman as a guest judge.

  1. Proud of her

I was proud of her. I think she did a really good job on DWTS. I was very sad to see her go. She's not been the best role model in the past, but I certainly enjoyed this side of Snooki. I hope she finds something else to do that she enjoys, and allows her beautiful personality to shine through.

So I watched the video & that Bill guy says "It's not just about dancing, it's, also, fan base".
SLAP! Right across Snooki's face...is he saying he has more fans than her?

    • you still have to

Give her credit. She came a long way and cleaned her act up.

@you still. I actually was siding w/Snooki on that one. He came off a bit holier than thou, IMO. He may not have realized it sounded that way, but, it did. I thought his statement was a bit rude. I caught 2 of her dances & she did a good job. She appeared to be a better dancer than him. That must be what he meant, ya think? As for cleaning up her act, I think being a mom has a lot to do w/that. 🙂

Well he's right. Bristol Palin was runner-up in her first season even though she consistently scored low for almost the entire season.

As it is though, I do feel bad for Snooki. She was actually fairly good and DWTS is pretty much the only productive thing I've heard of her doing with her spare time.
