'Captain America: The Winter Soldier': Watch the new trailer

In Hollywood, Washington D.C. has a shady character around every corner, and that's doubly the case in the new trailer for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

In the sequel to 2011’s “Captain America,” Chris Evans’ shield-carrying Marvel hero is living in the Capital and trying to adjust to the modern age. He doesn't do much for fun - all the guys in his barbershop quartet are dead, after all - but he is staying busy slaying would-be assassins in elevators, as the trailer shows:

In the sequel, Robert Redford plays S.H.I.E.L.D. top dog Alexander Pierce, who's convinced that "to build a better world sometimes means to tear the old one down," even when it means making a few enemies in the process.

Along with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and the Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Captain America has to face off against a lethal foe in this installment: Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier.

And if the trailer is any indication, this is going to be one explosive face-off.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier," directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, arrives April 4, 2014.

If Capt. America is really a captain, where are his captain's stripes. Why does he have a general's star on his chest.

Please get Sam Jackson out of this franchise.......I love him in many things but his Nick Fury is a shabby, pontificating, griping old man. Get someone who can play more than one character.............

Trailer isn't that great. Sure it shows lots of action, but what the heck is the movie about? They gave us no real bad guy to focus on...

The main bad guy? His name is the Winter Soldier...same as the name of the freaking movie. They only show him in quick shots so as not to reveal he is a character from the first movie.

In the real DC, there are three thugs around every corner. The biggest thief and liar in the bunch lives in a big white house.

Do you have any idea how BORING you are?

Take your NON-RELEVANT racism...and go someplace where you belong.

Bristol Palin's next novel should be hitting bookstore shelves soon. Her recent memoirs about her life as a drunk, pregnant teenager sold an astounding 1,500 copies and buoyed by this success she has worked very hard to write the sequel. Her adoring public expects no less because after all, the Palins are not quitters.

My next book will be "How to Infuriate Liberals With Truth & Logic". Just can't let go of this Palin thing, can you? Probably can't let go of your own thing, either.

Snark requires wit of which you are bereft. And being white is not an accomplishment.

Neither is being black. But a lot of my brothas and sistas insist on always making sure their blackness is on display. What is a gummo, anyway?

Actually, I'm mixed. The name is a play on G W Shark. Get it? As for wit, who are you to judge?
With a name like gummo, I don't expect much.

Palintwit makes the same dumb comments on every board affiliated with CNN....either he doth protest too much and secretly adores the Palins, or is too obsessed (this many years after the election). Either way, if I were the Palins (being a moderate, I am not, but if I were) I'd be thinking it might be "restraining order" time.

Get a new joke, get a clue, get out of your mom's basement, just get something better to do with your life....
