Bieber won't be charged for alleged spitting, speeding

Justin Bieber: 1; His neighbors: 0.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office tells CNN that it has declined to bring charges against the star in two cases: one specific to speeding, and another involving allegations of spitting.

If your Bieber history is a little fuzzy, remember that the 19-year-old singer's neighbors complained back in May that Bieber was driving too fast through their Calabasas, California, community.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, the local sheriff's office received phone calls from two irritated neighbors.

Before that, another neighbor told authorities that Bieber spat on him and made threats during a confrontation outside of the Canadian star's home in March. At the time, Bieber's rep denied the allegations.

But after reviewing two cases for filing consideration, the District Attorney's office declined charges in both. According to E! News, Deputy District Attorney Alan Yochelson wrote in his charges evaluation worksheet that while Bieber's response to the alleged spitting incident seemed "disproportionate and immature," the evidence didn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there'd been a crime.

Bieber's rep has yet to return a request for comment.
