Today's talk you might've missed:
- It did work for Miley Cyrus, and now Lady Gaga is following in that pop star's footsteps. The Mother Monster is going to host "Saturday Night Live" for the first time - and serve as musical guest for the third - on November 16, right around the time her album, "ARTPOP," is released on November 11.
- Aaron Taylor-Johnson couldn't see himself being "Kick-Ass" in the "Fifty Shades" movie, but the "Avengers" sequel is a different story. The actor has closed a deal to play Quicksilver in the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron." [The Wrap]
- Robsten supporters who are holding on to their memories for dear life have been given renewed hope: There's been a Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reunion sighting. [E!]
- One couple that is not together anymore is Courteney Cox and her "Cougar Town" co-star Brian Van Holt. Cox's ex, David Arquette, drunk-dialed Howard Stern's radio show to break the news. Saith Arquette: "I'm wasted." [Us Weekly]
- Given how well ABC Family's new murder-y show, "Ravenswood," performed when it premiered last week, it makes sense that the network would try to go full-fledged with its horror program. It's currently working on a TV adaptation of "The Hand that Rocks the Cradle." [THR]
- And that's not the only WTF TV news from today: Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit fame is developing a show for The CW called "The Noise," a drama that'll be about his rise in music during the '90s. [TVGuide]

Eminem's upcoming release, "Marshall Mathers LP 2" has been a labor of love - emphasis on the "labor."
As the Detroit rapper tells Rolling Stone in its November 7 issue,"right now, I'm probably working harder than I've ever worked in my life."
And yet, as Em fans can attest, you wouldn't know it from his effortless flow on recently released tracks "Berzerk," "Rap God" and "The Monster."

When Kim Kardashian shared a self-portrait of herself in a revealing bathing suit earlier this month, she was actually flipping the bird.
Didn't catch her middle finger in the snapshot? That's because the picture itself was intended to be a big "F. U." to those who criticized her weight gain while she was pregnant, the 33-year-old reality star told Jay Leno on Wednesday.

- Katy Perry's "Prism" didn't get the greatest reviews, but it did kill it in sales this week. The latest from KatyCat sold 268,000 copies, and debuted at No. 1 this week. [Billboard]
- Daniel Radcliffe's mission to get as far away from Harry Potter as possible is still in full operation. The actor has signed up to Olympic athlete Sebastian Coe in a new drama. [BBC]
- As if we needed any more proof that TV is the freshly crowned entertainment king, director Steve McQueen - who led this year's virtual shoo-in for awards season, "12 Years A Slave" - has landed his first small screen project with HBO. [Deadline]
- Kerry Washington can hide life-changing news - like, perhaps a pregnancy, for example - but she can't hide the fact that she's funny. It's all over the place in these promos for "Saturday Night Live":
