'The Killing' gets killed again, and more news to note

Today's news you might've missed:

  • AMC brought rainy detective series "The Killing" back from the dead only to kill it off yet again. Mere months after its miraculous season three return, "The Killing" has been canceled. [Deadline]
  • Thankfully, "Sons of Anarchy" fans don't have much to worry about. The season six premiere rode in to monster ratings Tuesday night, and was the most-watched show on TV with 5.8 million tuning in.
  • Zoe Saldana might be off the market. Rumor has it the actress secretly married Italian artist beau Marco Perego in London in June. [Us Weekly]
  • You only have a few weeks until Tina Fey blessedly returns to host the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live" on September 28. But now that they've lost half the cast, you're going to see a slew of new faces. Time to study up: [THR]

Miley Cyrus speaks on 'Wrecking Ball' video

If you think Miley Cyrus' music video for "Wrecking Ball" was nothing but nudity, you weren't paying attention - at least, so says Miley Cyrus.

“I think the video is much more," the 20-year-old singer said on Elvis Duran's morning radio show of her latest release, which has broken a Vevo record and now stands as the service's most-viewed clip.

"If people get past the point I make, and you actually look at me, you can tell I look more broken than even the song sounds," she continued.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the next chapter in Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" has been delayed past its intended 2015 release date.

'Jurassic Park 4' gets a title - and new release date

Welcome to Jurassic ... World?

That seems to be the new welcome for what we've up until now been calling "Jurassic Park 4." Universal Pictures announced on Tuesday that the next installment in the "Jurassic Park" series will officially be titled "Jurassic World."
