Simon Cowell on baby reports: Private, for nowMany of Simon Cowell's industry pals are talking about his reported impending fatherhood, but you won't hear a peep from the man himself. Multiple reports have suggested that the reality TV exec is expecting his first child with a woman named Lauren Silverman, the wife of a close friend of his. (Subsequent reports suggest that Silverman, a 36-year-old New York socialite, is working through a divorce from Cowell's friend.) But when press offered Cowell their congratulations on Thursday, as Us Weekly reports, he pretended not to know what they were talking about - at least, not at first.
"Am I missing something?" he quipped to reporters. "I haven't read the newspapers." But it wasn't long before he relented, saying he needed to keep whatever personal news he does have at the moment to himself. "Unfortunately, I have to keep this, for the moment, private," Cowell said. "It's just one of those things. But I thank you very much anyway." Later on, the 53-year-old relayed to People magazine that his silence was out of consideration for others. "There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right," he said, "but I really have to be sensitive because there's a lot of people's feelings involved here.”

Since Simon is gay..here is what really happened: It was all planed out by the three of them, starting by Andrew Silverman let his wife Lauren to inject herself with Simon's sperm using turkey baster. It's all about publicity stunt! Hahahaha...Simon got a girl pregnant...Give me a break!!!!! 🙂
If Simon was so concerned about others feelings then why is he involved with a friends wife. They could have waited until the divorce. Of course...maybe there wasn't going to be a divorce until she became pregnant.

wouldn't the "ultimate immoral sin" be if Simon had killed someone? Not sure what book of rules you live by, but even in the Bible, "thou shalt not kill" ranks higher than "thou shalt not pork thy neighbor." Unless, of course, you're someone who espouses Sharia Law, wherein crimes such as murder, adultery and shoplifting all carry a death sentence.
