Adam Levine engaged to model Behati Prinsloo

Adam Levine is giving up the single life.

The Maroon 5 frontman and "The Voice" coach has asked Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo to marry him. The singer, 34, popped the question in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Prinsloo, 24, began dating Levine last year, following his split from another model, Anne Vyalitsyna. Levine's romance with Prinsloo hit a rough patch in the spring, but after recently reuniting, the two are "excited" to announce their engagement, his rep has said.

While Levine has previously joked about his "promiscuous" ways, it seems the star has had marriage on his mind. He told Oprah Winfrey in an interview that aired in June that he probably wants to tie the knot "at some point."

"I don't feel pressure to get married," he said. "I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious and I'm going to do it and I'm going to really enjoy it."
