Paramount eyes future of 'World War Z'

Brad Pitt's "World War Z" didn't make it to No. 1 on its opening weekend - Disney/Pixar's "Monsters University" beat it to the top of the box office - but Paramount is still pleased enough to think about a follow-up.

The vice chairman for the studio tells The Hollywood Reporter that Paramount "will turn to developing a sequel."

Demi Lovato is embracing the support of her fans - a.k.a. Lovatics - in the wake of her father Patrick's passing.

"I feel so humbled to have had so much support from my fans, friends, family and complete strangers," Demi tweeted Sunday, as reports spread that her father had died. "God bless you all, thank you so much."

Jim Carrey withdraws support of his movie 'Kick-Ass 2'

The tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary in December has left its mark on Jim Carrey.

The 51-year-old actor has said that in light of that event and those like it, he can't stand behind the violence in his upcoming movie, "Kick-Ass 2."
