North West: A guide to the gossipNorth West (nope, no middle name) will be only a week old on Saturday, but she's already the center of the Internet's attention. Of course, as the first child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West - two of the most attention-grabbing people in pop culture - we wouldn't expect anything less. Since being born on June 15, North has caused an influx of celebrity news plus some gossip, most of which we've spared you from. If you need a crash course, check out the highlights here:
1. They're going to call her "Nori" for short Or so says a source to Us Weekly. This secret-spiller added that "everybody is doing great," and that "Kanye is in love" with his firstborn. 2. She's already met Steve Wozniak The Apple co-founder told Piers Morgan on Thursday that he paid a visit to Kim K. and Kanye after the arrival of their baby. "I've seen a lot of babies, and a baby represents the love between the people, and that meant more to me. The love that Kim was showing to Kanye, just because he was interested in technology and companies. As birthday present she had me up there to meet him. Unbelievable that a woman would do that. I just think that she's doing everything she can to show her love to her man." As far as he could tell, North was "a sweet little baby." 3. She stayed in the hospital for a week following her birth According to People magazine, North probably hung out at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a week after her arrival because she arrived ahead of schedule, reportedly weighing in at "just under five pounds." Mom Kim was rushed to the hospital on Friday due to complications, and ended up going into early labor - which might explain why she had to stick around for a bit. Word has it she had Kanye by her side the entire time. 4. North's now with mom in a secret location Reports suggest that Kim K. skirted away with her newborn baby in the dark of the night early Friday morning, and is now hanging out in an undisclosed location. 5. She looks like Kim One of Kim's girlfriends, Larsa Pippen, shared details on North with E! News. To Pippen, the newborn's "the cutest thing ever ... She's a mini Kim." Another "close friend" of the first time mom told People magazine that little North "is the prettiest, tiniest thing with a full head of straight, dark hair, a cute little nose and Kim's lips."
