John Oliver crashes Stewart's last moment of zen

Jon Stewart hosted his last "Daily Show" episode until September on Thursday night, and his temporary replacement, the comedy show's John Oliver, helped send him off.

Before that, Stewart explained what prompted his decision to make a movie based on the book, "Then They Came For Me," by journalist Maziar Bahari.

Archie and the gang to make movie debut

If you thought Team Edward and Team Jacob was a heated match-up, just wait until Team Betty and Team Veronica.

Warner Bros. (which is owned by the same parent company as CNN) is going to produce a live-action film based on the iconic "Archie" comic series. This will be the first time in the comic's 72-year history that Riverdale's favorite teenagers will get a silver screen debut.

Conrad Murray sends 'love' to Paris Jackson

The convicted former physician of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray, has recorded an audio "letter" to the King of Pop's daughter Paris following her hospitalization on Wednesday because he cares about her, Murray told CNN in a statement via his attorney.

His lawyer confirmed to CNN that Murray provided TMZ with the taped message, in which Murray told the 15-year-old: "I don't know what you're going through, but I'm sure whatever it is, it must be difficult. ... I don't know if there’s anything I can do to solve your pain, or help you with your problem, but I wanted you to know that I am here for you."

The motivation, Murray's lawyer said, was his love for Jackson's children, which also includes sons Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11.

Brad Pitt is everywhere

Brad Pitt can't be getting much sleep right now.

The 49-year-old actor is doing a frenzied press tour for his upcoming zombie thriller, "World War Z,"  jumping from London to Paris to Berlin to Atlanta, Georgia, within one week. And he didn't stop there.
