It's been three weeks since the "Adorn" singer took a leap across the stage and hit an audience member in the head as he fell, and the star is still embroiled in the fallout. Khyati Shah, the young woman who was struck in the head when the R&B crooner bungled his landing, is reportedly concerned that she might have suffered a head injury. Shah's lawyer told TMZ in a statement that "some of the difficulties she's experiencing are cognitive in nature and lead to suspicion of a neurological head injury." Adding salt to the wound was speculation that Miguel was told not to attempt his acrobatic move in the first place, a rumor the singer's rep has denied. "The reports claiming that Miguel was warned by producers not to jump are completely false," his rep told CNN. "A number of attempts were made to reach Khyati and her lawyer after the performance to see how she was doing and whether any assistance could be offered. Khyati’s well-being has been and continues to be of the utmost concern to Miguel.” The singer himself has said in the past that he's lost shut-eye over the incident. "I'm a very passionate performer, and that time it didn't work out for me," he told UK website LoveDough on May 31. "That night, I couldn't sleep. I was worried about the girl, obviously, and wanting her to be OK, and that's what she told me that she was OK, and I was comforted by that. Obviously, you never want to make mistakes on camera in front of millions of people on live television, but at the same time, the next day it was OK. I started to deal with it and laugh with it, roll with the punches, and that's all you can do. We're human." Billboard, which hosted the ceremony on May 19, has no comment.

I've never heard of Miguel, nor do I want to. I just hope they sue his ass into oblivion.
He was whacked on opiates and over estimated his leaping abilities. Now, a poor fan has debilitating neurological injuries, maybe permanent. He will need to make millions to pay the lawsuit judgment. Unless the show insured him. Concert goers, this could happen to you. Miguel must be sued mercilessly.

If only he had missed the stage completey and fell into a black hole where he could never return. Then we wouldnt have had that awful Mariah Carey performance- I personally don't know whioch performance was a greater failure.
Can you say "cha-ching"? First off, what a stupid thing to do on his part. Whether she is hurt or not, I'm sure she will be getting a nice little check out of the idiot's actions.
He didn't look very concerned right after it happened. I would've at least said 'are you ok?' or sorry, it's not like nobody noticed miguel, but no! Your're stoopid performance had to go on!
