While you were working ...

Today's news you might've missed:

  • Is there anything cuter than a boy band cuddling with giant pandas? The  members of the Backstreet Boys got to hold them while visiting China's Giant Panda Breeding Research Institute in Chengdu. They should really be more careful the next time they decide to hang out with adorable animals - they might melt the Internet!
  • How's this for a fun Rihanna fact: Out of the singer's seven studio releases, only one didn't sell more than a million. The 25-year-old just notched her sixth platinum album this week with her latest release, "Unapologetic." [Billboard]
  • Justin Timberlake entered a spelling bee too once upon a time - but the word "wharf" took him down. [Page Six]
  • Whatever is going on between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus has made one thing very clear: She's still rocking her ring. [People]
  • Jeff Probst on that one time he went on his first and last date with Katie Couric: "What I remember most about the date is how nervous I was and how little I offered to the conversation. It was like I forgot how to go on a date." Ouch! [Us Weekly]

The Owen Wilson/Vince Vaughn bromance is still strong

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are together again in theaters this summer with their new comedy "The Internship."

The two actors have previously worked together in 2004's "Starsky & Hutch" and 2005's "Wedding Crashers," and they're rekindling their bromance with this movie set at Google's headquarters - although "bromance" isn't exactly a term Vaughn would use.

Haters can hate, but Netflix is 'thrilled' with 'Arrested'

Between the mixed reviews of the new "Arrested Development" episodes and Netflix's past dancing around the topic, the chance of more episodes arriving didn't seem too likely.

But in fact, Netflix, which unleashed a 15-episode fourth season of "Arrested" to a deprived Internet on Sunday, has said that a fifth season isn't out of the question.

Today's news you might've missed:

  • It seems Johnny Depp requires top dollar, and a Whitey Bulger biopic that the actor was supposed to star in reportedly couldn't swing it. Depp's said to have dropped out of the project over the salary dispute. [THR]
  • But at least the star still has the "Pirates of the Caribbean" to pad his bank account with, right? The fifth installment in the franchise has found a pair of directors to lead the charge: "Kon-Tiki's" Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg. [Deadline]
  • Bon Jovi has added a new heap of tour dates to their "Because We Can" tour because ... well, they can. [BonJovi.com]
  • When Channing Tatum grows up, he wants to be a 22-year-old woman filled with awesome. "I wouldn't mind being the male Jennifer Lawrence," he tells Cosmopolitan in an upcoming issue. "I think she's incredibly cool." [Cosmo]
  • Miley Cyrus has evidently studied at the Queen Beyoncé School of PR. While the Internet debates her relationship status with Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus has dropped a new music video with Snoop Lion - a classic distraction technique. Well played, young Cyrus.
