'Pain & Gain' stars talk bulking upThere was a lot of talk about bulking up at the Hollywood premiere of “Pain & Gain” on Monday. Mark Wahlberg told CNN he put on quite a bit of weight to star in the Michael Bay film, which is based on the true story of a gang of bodybuilders who got caught up in extortion, kidnapping and murder in the ‘90s. “That ‘Pain & Gain’ workout routine was a one-off,” Wahlberg said. “I don’t want to walk around at 212 pounds all the time.” In order to put on weight and gain muscle, the actor said he lifted weights, ate protein and utilized the supplement line he’s designing with GNC. “I was testing all the best products and I had access to all the best supplements out there, so it was a lot of mass gainer and protein shakes and whole chickens getting devoured,” he said. Anthony Mackie, who plays a bodybuilder alongside Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson, said the most challenging part of working on the film was “putting on size.” “I’ve never been over 200 pounds before,” Mackie told CNN. “And knowing Mark was going to be jacked up, and Dwayne is as big as he is, I knew I had to put on size." The actor said he went from 185 pounds to tipping the scale at 213 thanks to two-a-days, lots of sleep and, of course, food. However, to his own dismay, Ken Jeong’s role didn’t require him to undergo a physical transformation. “I begged to add muscle and they’re like, ‘No, we don’t need it. We just need you to be in a three-piece suit,’ ” he said said. “I was like, ‘Fine, I’m over it. I don’t want to make the other leads jealous. I’ll wear a suit. I get it.’ ” Jeong, who will soon appear in the “The Hangover Part III,” shared his excitement with CNN regarding the final installment of the comedic trilogy, saying, “For me as an actor, ‘Hangover 3’ is probably the best thing I have ever done.” |

Wow, if Hangover 3 is the best thing he's ever done...he's going to have an extremely short career! None of the Hangover movies have been anything special, they were over-hyped and not nearly as funny as the industry tried to make people believe. I feel sorry for this guy if he truly feels this is the best he's ever done.
I am The Rock, I am an island...
I ate a baby
If this is the best thing you have ever done, you are aiming way too low and probably in the wrong profession.
Facial Time.

I noticed that this is probably the biggest Mark Wahlberg's ever been. A quick google search found he potentially worked out 7 days per week and lifted VERY heavy weights: http://www.jmaxfitness.com/blog/2013/04/07/pain-and-gain-workout/

Not me. I'm not gay. I had a terrible day. I might be gay on saturday though, but probably not. Cutting grass makes me sad.
Yes you are. Cartman said so. You and Kyle both are. Kenny isn't. Kenny is cool.
With all the posts you put in these blogs having to do with this or that being gay, you're showing your undeniable curiosity... Why don't you finally come out, satisfy your curiosity and let us all go on with our lives?
