Disney/Pixar sets 'Finding Nemo' sequel for 2015Talk of a "Finding Nemo" sequel has been flitting about the Web for a while, but Disney/Pixar made it official on Tuesday. On its Facebook page, the company announced that the follow-up to their 2003 story will arrive in November 2015, with Andrew Stanton returning to direct.
Called "Finding Dory," the focus will evidently be on one fish in particular: the humorously forgetful Regal Blue Tang named Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres. The character befriended the clownfish Marlin on his mission to find Nemo after the young fish was kidnapped and added to a dentist's aquarium. She also had one of the movie's most memorable pieces of dialogue, as she would sing encouragingly - and repetitively - "just keep swimming." Talk show host DeGeneres seemed to confirm her return on Twitter, where she shared a photo of some of the sequel's art along with the caption, "it's official." According to the Los Angeles Times, both Marlin and Nemo will return along with other standouts from the first film. "Finding Dory" is expected to pick up about a year after the end of "Finding Nemo," and parts of it will take place along the California Coast. In a statement, DeGeneres said that she's “waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time. I’m not mad it took this long. I know the people at Pixar were busy creating ‘Toy Story 16.'" |

Thanks for the news! It will be amazing to see Dory......the latest Celebrity News all about.
Don't like the idea?
Don't watch the movie..simple.
I think "Finding Nemo" is one of those movies that should be left alone and not ever have a sequel.
So I took Dory out to the barrier reef and it was all dark and open waters on the way there...Dory says to me, "its so dark and scary out here at the reef..."
I just shook my head and told her, " how do you think I feel? I have to swim back to shore by myself"

To paraphrase the traditional English song, Oh Dear What's To Become Of Us? I am constantly gobsmacked by the pure hatred and cruelty behind the average post on any of these commentaries. It simply does not seem to matter whether it's a political story, a news item about a dog who saved a little girl's life or the announcement for a new animated movie; somehow the whole thing degenerates into a brawl after the first one or two fairly normal posts.
It's not amusing, and it's certainly not intellectually challenging. It's just sad and ugly and I can't imagine being in some of those people's minds, dripping with vitriol and anger at every turn.
If you decide the dog that saved the girl's life is 'merely' a mutt why is that important for you to state? What does it matter? And if you personally for some reason think that a new Pixar movie featuring Ellen DeGeneres will not suit you, why start a smear campaign about it? Surely there are other movie choices you can plan to attend without making a big deal about your pre-ejaculatory condemnation? What in the world do you gain from despising everything around you?

Those people that write the stupidest comments are online for one simple reason – to get a rise out of other people. I believe those are the same people that in their daily lives no one really likes them, because of their sheer ignorance and disrespect for anybody or anything around them. It's easy to be anonymous online. Sad really, that this is what seems to give them some sort of joy – even if it's for a brief moment.
so true girlfriend-that's why I don't like women....men are much more fun
looks looks like some deafness has kicked in...
test
The first movie was cute, but Dory is a sidekick, not a main character. Her stupidity was good in small doses, but to center a movie around her I predict will just get annoying
Nice. Hard to top a masterpiece like Nemo, I'm curious if it will measure up.
I can't wait!!! (in my whale voice)
Allright, it was a kinda cute movie but nothing spectacular that I would have expected a sequel to. More juvinile than other Pixar offerings. Me thinks they may be trying to capitalize on Ellen's popularity. If they make a good movie they're forgiven.
"More juvinile than other Pixar offerings" I laughed at this statement for two reasons. First, it's spelled juvenile. Secondly, it's a Pixar movie. Finding Nemo is on the same level as their other movies. They aren't into making movies like Schindler's List or The Notebook.
hey
Optimus,
Pointing out a spelling error? THAT"S juvEnile. Never made one yourself?
Yes, Pixar movies are made for kids. However if you've seen enough of them you can't deny many are riddled with references to things kids just won't understand. Do you think Pixar is hoping kids will be running to the library to find the answers? No, Pixar was just trying to make it enjoyable for the adults who have to sit through them with the children.
was not interested–
Seems kind of farfetched that those little fish would travel from the Southern Hemisphere (Australia) up to the California Coast, but it's a Disney animated movie so anything's possible.
Finding Nemo is probably the most well written Pixar movie to date. The story has true heart and great life lessons for children of all ages. Do you really thing Monsters Inc is more mature? Perhaps you didn't really watch Nemo and didn't understand the plot.
Ellen saved the first movie with her voice – smart move to make dory the main character – she was the best.
Ellen was great in the first one, can't wait for the 2nd part! Thx
U people r sick
dory is drowning fast...
THANKS
