TLC's 'What Not to Wear' to end after 10 seasonsAfter making over fashion victims for 10 years, “What Not to Wear” is coming to an end. TLC’s longest running primetime series will sign off after its 10th season, which begins airing on Friday nights in July, according to the network. “This show changed me and the trajectory of my life,” host and fashion expert Stacy London said in a statement. “I've learned so much from all of our contributors over the years. I hope we touched them as much as they touched me. … I certainly see our rules in practice every day. It feels like the end of an era and I look forward to my next chapter.” London’s co-host Clinton Kelly echoed her sentiment, noting, “At first I thought the essence of the show was making snarky remarks about people’s outfits, but as it turns out, ‘WNTW’ is about taking stock of who you are and communicating that non-verbally to the rest of the world. That’s incredibly empowering.” The series has clothed more than 325 men and women, including celebrities like “The Big Bang Theory’s” Mayim Bialik and “Baywatch’s” Nicole Eggert. As for what happens to alumni after the show, which provides participants with a $5,000 budget to buy new clothes, Kelly told People that it’s all about “the rule of thirds.” “One third [of participants] stay looking fabulous, another third try with mixed results and the last third immediately revert to their old ways. You win some, you lose some,” he said. “To be honest, despite our best efforts over the past decade, we only seem to have gotten through to a small (but important) sliver of the population," Kelly told the magazine. "Walk through any airport in America and you'll quickly notice that 99 percent of people should have been paying more attention to us.” |

It had a great run-10 years. Congrats. But time to move on.
oh now...we didn't tell anyone anything-i love the God too much..
What Not to Wear? More like What Not to Watch.
thanks.
it was a troll...really no anger...i may not completely be a troll but i know the best of them where i come from
and get everyone involved but yet minor conversation cannot happen..its fine i don't care–but do not think i am fooled by trolls i grew up with them.....
you have a big mouth about insulting others - why can you not answer a simple question and according too this your aware of one of the amounts? 24?
I absolutely LOVE this show, if for no other reason than Stacy and Clinton's reactions to the straight tomfoolery that the hidden video footage. The WNTW inspiration will live on in the legions that learned to love their curves, nooks and cranies and dress them at the size they are now. Love WNTW!
and are drunks (sorry guys you know what i mean) and would never do that-why me?
all you had too do was ask any questions i would have answered you and you would have been closer to the curves...i'm not angry at all...i find it funny however i would appreciate when viewing you keep your mouth closed.
i never told a soul when our dilemma happened...so why tell everyone about curves and nooks? do you not get it?
I agree with you, LaRita. The BEST reality show on TV. I will certainly miss it, as well as Stacey and Clinton, when it ends.
Thanks for 10 great years WNTW!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOO
It was time....
baaawaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I loved the episode! Finally Rick can come out of the madness, Carl can finally look his dad in the eye, I LOVED THE CAT STATUE! Too funny. They really need to allow more people in! I missed Morgan and really looked forward to his return and was not disappointed! Sad about the kid, but I think that followed with the graphic novel. But i felt bad for carl for once when he realized their house was gone. Nice to see Michonne smile! This was great writing. Liked all the details of the different signs, grafitti, the Erin-Sophia connection, and still want to know what exactly was on the walls (only caught a few things).
your a true leader.....
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
1 more how long will that take–hours daze...etc...
Omg its ending.nóoooooooo.
AIN'T NOBODY MOVING....BUTCH
The Kardashians remain

Was good and helpful but time to move on.
business as usual
even if a small portion of people do change completly does count figure it out at least thats better then none and its a start yet thats awsome. But weigh your pros and cons like above was positive but it seems like shows such as what not to wear as well as many others gives up to dang easly when the tuff gets going and the going gets tuff dont give up. Means all the shows that stop cause things dont go as pland dont mean u should quit yet cause a small portion wants to change yet u r? What happend to the true meaning of tlc?? Tender loveing care! Yall gave up like wow
crashes computers if it does not get its way....
This bloggs looks like a rendition of last years bloggs...your a nothing, christmas is coming, tricked, dvr, i'm the boss, you can't talk to people you are not good, she is a sl-t, he is a sl-t - let's go out they will be up all night saying the same d*m thing all over again.
give it a rest...
truth
Yeah I remember watching this show it was all right I guess.. But I totally understood where the people were coming from when they were looking for discounts or cheaper clothes. Even though the show gave them $5000 -people are used to saving money and to see a shirt thats $200 kind of hurts
what was so tough?
the show was tough on some people but it also helped others to like their bodies.
i NEVER once asked a man for anything i was treated well in the past because I NEVER ASKED THEM FOR A D*M thing..
go play with your headless barbie dolls and leave all alone tonight.
lol
Give me $5,000 to spend on clothes and you'd definitely see a new me.
I'm right there with you, Barbara 😉
I watched that show once. ONCE!
The Learning Channel was a good network when they promoted learning. This show is a perfect example of what they have become. They politely degrade people in hopes of getting "reality show" type viewers. Guess what it didn't work. Sooo-prize, sooo-prize. Only watched the show once, more than enough.
the fact you are both men explains why you don't get it
This show changed my life. It helped me decide to seek a career in the agricultural industry. Now I have a big farm and lots of cows. Mooooooo. That's what cows say. Mooooooo.
someone used the cow name with my last name in front of it review pern movies.
I would watch it then go to the store nekked so my clothes could be custom fitted. I learned this trick from the program.
I agree also. This was a wonderful show about glamourous fashion. I'll miss when they had the celebrity chefs and also when they would bid on the unclaimed storage lockers. That Barry Weiss was a card. Chumlee also was great. He added funniness to the program. And humor. Hopefully they will like happily ever after. Best wishes to all and merry Christmas.
this is the one who threatens him about CHRISTMAS...it starts around October...this year its starting before Easter
I am very sad to see this show end. I absolutely LOVE IT!!! It changed my life so much as for as dressing my body. I also just love Stacey and Clinton. You guys will be missed!
