How Snooki lost 42 poundsAlmost seven months after giving birth to her first child, Lorenzo, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is in fighting shape. The reality star has been working hard to slim down, and is now showing off her 42-pound weight loss on the cover of Us Weekly's latest issue.
"Hard work pays off!" the 25-year-old mom of one tweeted Wednesday, adding a thank you to Express Home Fitness' meal service, her trainer and Florham Park Fitness. As her tweet shows, Snooki turned to proven methods to aid in her weight loss: "You just need to get your a** to the gym and eat healthy!" she told Us Weekly. For the 4'9 fist-pumper, that meant a 1,300 calories-a-day diet and four days of exercise per week. "I lost it for me," Snooki told the magazine of her motivation. She was never hot, she's not hot now, she will never be hot.
I personally admire Snooki. She has her own type of crazy, and even though she ENJOYED her life partying, drinking and hooking up, she has really grown up. Being a mom is nothing easy and for a girl with a past like that... Damn it's pretty impressive. I like Snooki's personality the most because she CHOOSES to be happy even though many people are hating on her because of her past. People really need to stop living in the past and begin living the present. She's living a great life now, probably a better life than the ones that are hating on her. I'm not trying to talk dirt on anyone but why not just let her be happy. I'm really Proud of you Snooks you've come a long way!!! 🙂

You know, I always found the Jersey Shore cast to be hot narcissistic messes. But I kind of like Snooky because she owns her "crazy". She's not a tall woman– losing 40+ on a woman of her stature is pretty impressive. Plus, I LOVE her hair color. She's living in her truth and becoming a grownup. Good on ya, Snooks...

why is everyone hating snookie for being slim and happy and fun. dont we all laugh, screw, recieve bj's, drink, smoke, and party with the snookies out there? if there were no snookies out there alot of venues wouldn't be half as fun as they are. it would be a bunch of yellow teeth lame nuns jumpin up and down to tiesto. lets appreicate the snookies out there please 🙂 they brought me great times in college and still today.

Fernella all it takes is one change. I quit coffee creamer and lost 40 lbs. My husband quit sodapop he lost 68. Then he went a step further and gave up pasta and lost anotiher 40. He quit eating fatty meat and bread and salt lost 30 more. Now he is at his military weight.his BMI is 22. He is my inspiration to eat fruit,veggies,beans and greens.dont forget to drink plenty of water when u feel hungry. Yogurt fixes my sweet tooth.GO FOR IT! I am very proud and happy for her. I am a 57 year old woman who has struggled all my life to do what she has accomplished. If I had the means I would surely do what she did. More power to you, my dear may God bless you and keep you strong and healthy for your little bundle of joy.

WHAT DAY IS IT?
So, let me get this straight. In order to lose weight I need to a) hire someone to hold me accountable and b) contract a food service? Assuming we lay people can all afford to do those things while pay a nanny to babysit our newborn, we could all lose weight in record speed. This does not give the average woman any hope. It would have been better has she been able to hold herself accountable and then prepped her own healthy meals.

Why are you people so mean? Why do you have to be so negative towards a woman who lost 42 lbs? Maybe you don't have any idea of how difficult that is, but that's quite an achievement. That's exactly the kind of news and inspiration that the people in the US need given that we're the fattest country out there.
Will not go near these type of women...The women i know are SUCCESSFUL in their careers do not begg–the men i know do NOT tolerage these type of women anyway..
