'Django,' 'Ted' lead MTV Movie Awards nodsAwards season may be over but acclaimed films like "Django Unchained" and "Silver Linings Playbook" are still racking up nominations. "Django" leads this year's nominees for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, along with Seth MacFarlane's "Ted." Both movies have seven nominations each.
"Django," which earned Oscars for actor Christoph Waltz and screenwriter/director Quentin Tarantino, will compete with "Ted" for Movie of the Year. Awards season darling "Silver Linings Playbook," which received six MTV Movie Award nods overall, is also nominated in that category. Other films like "The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" and "Pitch Perfect" didn't get a ton of recognition on the awards circuit but are leaders with MTV. "Dark Knight Rises" is nominated for five awards, including Movie of the Year, a category that also highlights "The Avengers." Joss Whedon's box office smash is nominated for four awards overall, as are "Perks" and "Pitch Perfect." Interestingly enough, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" only received a single nomination, which goes to Taylor Lautner for best shirtless performance. The actor faces heady competition in that category - which is new for 2013 - as Channing Tatum in "Magic Mike," Seth MacFarlane as the shirtless teddy bear in "Ted," Daniel Craig in "Skyfall" and Christian Bale in "The Dark Knight Rises" are also nominated. Fans can vote for their favorite films and performance at MovieAwards.MTV.com until April 13. The 2013 MTV Movie Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET. Check out a few of the categories below. To see a full list, visit MTV.com. Comments regarding the first two minute of Argo.
do tell...
do tell...
the actor made his bed and now he has to remain -
received this during the night (both women)
I love these categories that MTV has for the Movie Awards. Seeing the nominees I can see Silver Linings Playbook winning in some of the categories, but I am rooting for The Avengers to win Movie of the Year. Unfortunately I have to work my shift at DISH when the awards air, so I have to wait until I get home to watch it. Since I have the DISH Hopper I can record six shows at once during prime time hours, so I will be able to record my shows and the awards with no DVR conflicts.
because i was not sure if i should go 2 times a day
if he wants too look fine....why tell anyone...my x never told anyone he was staring at me...

I agree with Tyree. It just be raseism. I'm as good a actor as any whites.
you big dummy
keep on trucking forever!!!!!!!!!
"Skyfall" and "Silver Linings Playbook" were both excellent. The rest of these were liberal garbage.
Your the garbage
Hey Big Sh!t go die in a sink-hole.
the actors are top notch and at their prime now–all the best in ratings...
D'jango was by far the best picture of the year, agreed. However, Twilight not being nominated is very disappointing, esp for best kiss for Rob and Kris. MTV just slit their own throat...won't be watching.
who cares
Django is a powerful movie. Powerful. It shows how our peoples were treated back in the day. We still be opressed today. I should be a business president if it wasn't for misstreetment of our community.
Maybe you should go back to school, and get an education. It might help you in your climb up the corporate ladder at McDonalds.
everyone will have no interest in the show....People want to see a good show...not a dud.
@ Tyree,your a bit ch a s s troll.
ratings are what counts and they still got it!!!!!
@Tyree, the luckiest day in your ancestor's life was the day your fellow African captured you and sold you into bondage. Had you stayed in Africa, you would be miserable and squalid, like the relatives you left behind. The caucasions selectively bred you for toil, so some amongst you have athletic ability today. In America you can go as far as your talents will take you. If you're dumb and lazy, you'll stay in sec eight housing subsisting on f00d stamps, but see how generous the caucasion is, to carry the dead weight of you and your kin?
stop that.
the african thing...is that another financial threat too your life?
Anyone stupid enough to believe Tyree is black should jump off a bridge.
