While you were working

Today's news you might've missed:

  • The "feud" between Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin - which is really too passive aggressive to be a feud, but let's go with it - lives to see another day as the former "Transformers" star has released emails in apparent response to Baldwin saying he's the acting world's version of a celebrity chef. [New York Magazine's Vulture]
  • Bruno Mars has a No. 1 album for the first time, while the song accompanying that newfangled "Harlem Shake" is still locked in the top spot on the singles chart. Don't look at us and shake your heads; you all made this happen! [Billboard]
  • "Smash" fans, if you're still out there, now would be the time to start watching the show - or DVR'ing it, or something. The NBC dramedy reached a new ratings low on Tuesday. [EW]
  • Simon Cowell knows that he'd be "crazy not to have [Demi Lovato] back" on "The X Factor," which means he's also sane enough to realize he can't go shaking up his judges panel each and every season. [TooFab]
  • Speaking of Demi, apparently she has an older half-sister she didn't know about. Where's Maury when you need him? [AOL Music]
  • Rumor has it Demi Moore is getting a move on filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, 16 months after they announced the end of their marriage. [Page Six]
  • After seeing Justin Timberlake host "Saturday Night Live" numerous times, we couldn't muster a ton of excitement for his next hosting gig on March 9. This clip, however, fixed that right  up:

Tina and Amy: We were just joking, Taylor!

In January, the comedic hosting duo called out the actively dating Swift, telling her to "stay away" from Michael J. Fox's son. "She needs some me time, to learn about herself," Fey said at the time.

When Vanity Fair brought up Fey and Poehler's quip with Swift, the 23-year-old seemed to suggest that Fey and Poehler are going to roast for their comedy.
