McCartney, Mumford and Tom Petty to play Bonnaroo 2013

It doesn't take more than a quick glance at Bonnaroo's 2013 lineup to know this year's fest is going to rock.

With Paul McCartney, Mumford & Sons and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers leading the charge, the four-day music and arts festival in Manchester, Tennessee, has a little something for everyone.

The list, which was announced on Tuesday, includes Björk, Wilco, Pretty Lights, R. Kelly and the Wu-Tang Clan. Daniel Tosh, who helped reveal the artists participating at this year's event, is among the comedians performing.

Kendrick Lamar, The xx, Passion Pit, The Lumineers, Grizzly Bear, Nas, ZZ Top, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Cat Power, A$AP Rocky and Billy Idol will also be in attendance, along with a long list of other acts.

Check out for the full lineup, and keep an eye out for additional artists to come. The festival runs from June 13 to June 16, with tickets going on sale Saturday, February 23 at 12 p.m. ET.

Not a big fan of multiple day festivals but this one may be an exception!!. Wow what a line up, ZZ Top and Tom Petty would be enough for me but to add Paul, Wilco and more puts the icing on the cake.

The days of Paul McCartney are over. Didn't anybody listen to him at the Olympics? His voice is done. Just keep writing, and let somebody else sing. He isn't the only one. Anybody heard Steven Stills of late. Horrible.

I saw him in St. Louis in December. I was worried about his voice since that Olympics appearance. I was worried for nothing. Paul was just fantastic. He's not done yet.

Every single pro singer who tours has had days where their voices sounded like they were ruined. It happens. You get a cold, just like anyone else, but instead of resting your throat you have to go out and sing 20 songs a night. It shreds the voice. Paul's done plenty of singing since and he still sounds like Paul McCartney, so maybe you should realize you're not a doctor or any kind of expert and you know absolutely nothing about Paul McCartney.

I'm not deaf and I know a used up voice when I hear one. I don't need to be a doctor to know when some bodies voice is done anymore than you know what YOU are talking about.

Bah humbug. Mostly mainstream crap. It's just another festival, now. If it was 1979 I'd want to see Petty and Macca.
I'd rather go back in time to Bonnarroo 2003: Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Yonder Mountain String Band, Lucinda Williams, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Keller Williams, The Funky Meters, My Morning Jacket. Ben Kweller, Tortoise, and Sonic Youth. Animal Collective, John McLaughlin, Beach House, and one or two others are the only bands I'll miss not seeing.

i saw Paul McCartney twice . the man is a legend, a muli talented multi instrument capable muscian . l cannot compare which concert was better but l know it is better than any current so called music or pretend artists of today...the ones who rip off the great iconic artistist from the Beatles ,Zepplin, the Stones and all others from the era of the greatest time of music. These " old men " are Rock and Roll born from Jazz and the Blues.

I dedicated these lyrics form Hair to American Taxpayer and Bacon Supporter:
"She asks me why, why I'm just a hairy guy.
I'm hairy noon and nighty night night, my hair is a fright.
I'm hairy high and low, but don't ask me why, cause he don't know.
It's not for lack of bread, like the Grateful Death.

Give me a head with hair, long beautiful hair.
    Shining, gleaming, streaming, flaxen, waxen.
Give me down to there hair, shoulder length or longer hair
Here baby, there, momma, ev'rywhere, daddy, daddy.

    Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Hair, hair, hair. Flow it, show it, long as I can grow it, my hair.

I'd let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees, give a home to the fleas in my hair.
A home for the fleas, a hive for the buzzin' bees,
A nest for birds, there ain't no words for the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of my:

    Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
    Hair, hair, hair
Flow it, show it, long as I can grow it, my hair

I want it long, straight, curly, fuzzy, snaggy, shaggy, ratty, matty,
Oily, greasy, fleecy, shining, streaming, gleaming, flaxen, waxen,
Knotted, polka dotted, twisted, beaded, braided,
Powdered, flowered and confettied, bangled, tangled, spangled and spahettied.

Oh say can you see, rise if you can,
    And my hair's too short

    Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
Hair, hair, hair.Flow it, show it,
Long as God can grow it, my hair

They'll be ga-ga at the go-go when they see me in my toga,
My toga meade of blond, brilliantined, biblical hair.
My hair like Jesus wore it, Halleluja I adore it, Halleluja Mary loved her son,why don't my mother love me?

    Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
    Hair, hair, hair
    Folw it, show it
Long as God can grow it, my hair

    Hair, hair, hair, hair, hair
    Hair, hair, hair
    Folw it, show it
Long as God can grow it, my hair"

What about the poor starving zombies? i know you have seen them on TV. Who is going to feed them? I think maybe the government should round up grown ups that don't work and maybe use them for zombie food. And also school teachers. Yeah. Ones that give book reports and homework. I bet zombies would like them.
