Rachel Weisz, Daniel Craig aren't attending Oscars

We know there's a planned tribute to honor the 50th anniversary of the James Bond franchise at the Oscars this weekend, but at least one 007 won't be in attendance.

According to Rachel Weisz, wife of "Skyfall" star Daniel Craig, she and her husband won't even be in the building at Sunday's show.

"No, we're not coming [to the Oscars]," Weisz, who stars in March's "Oz the Great and Powerful," told CNN Saturday.

That's likely disappointing for Bond fans who were hoping there was truth to the rumor that the six leading men in the series would all appear as part of the tribute.

The segment itself was announced in January, with Oscars producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron saying in a statement posted on Deadline that they were "very happy to include a special sequence on our show saluting the Bond films on their 50th birthday."

They didn't mention anything about bringing the actors who played the agent onto the stage, but speculation that Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Roger Moore and the rest were going to appear soon spread online.

However, Brosnan has also seemingly shut down theories about any potential participation. When TMZ brought up the gossip regarding all six Bonds making an appearance, Brosnan cryptically replied, "well, they'll be missing one."

Even without all six actors, the tribute is already a can't-miss moment: Both Adele, who's nominated for an Oscar thanks to her "Skyfall" theme song, and legendary Bond franchise vocalist Shirley Bassey are set to perform.

He has the classic symptoms of panic/anxiety disorder. He seems fine while he is concentrating on his acting, however, when he has to make public appearances he becomes quite nervous. I've actually seen his wife calm him down doing what appeared to be a panic attack.

I think Daniel Craig should have showed up for a short time to at least stand and be recognized. The Bond movies are legendary like the Star Trek movie franchise. 50 years? Come on, its a celebration. William Shatner at least showed up "On-screen" in uniform and reprised Capt. Kirk again. Go figure.

Craig looks great for his age especially from the neck down. He has almost as many wrinkles as Judi Dench.
