With due date nearing, Kim K. files for speedier divorceThe clock is ticking for Kim Kardashian's July due date, and the 32-year-old reality star would really like to be divorced when she becomes a first-time mom. Her attempts to split from basketball player Kris Humphries after their 72-day marriage has turned into a lengthy legal battle. Kardashian filed for divorce in October 2011, and Humphries followed suit by requesting an annulment on the grounds of fraud.
As a result, Kardashian filed paperwork last month to urge the courts to end her marriage before she welcomes Kanye West's baby this summer, CNN's confirmed. "I firmly believe that an immediate dissolution of our marriage will help create a new, full life for me," Kardashian said in her court documents, according to People magazine. "One chapter will be officially over, and a new one can begin. The same should hold true for [Humphries]." A source close to Kardashian told CNN that Humphries filed his own documents requesting to prolong the divorce on Wednesday. "The divorce has been going on for a year now. She moved on a long time ago, and closed the door to that chapter," the source said. "Unfortunately, [Humphries is] doing everything and anything he can to drag it on as long as he can. He has a good career and good money, but he wants to keep his name out there as long as he can. We don’t understand – they were married for a total of 72 days, but the divorce has taken a year." CNN has reached out to Humphries for comment. Kardashian and West, who announced their joyful news around the New Year's holiday, are expecting their firstborn in early July. "I do not want to be married to (Humphries) when I have my baby," Kardashian said in her court docs, according to People. "I am requesting the status of my marriage be determined for now for not only my health and welfare but also for the health and well-being of my unborn child."

Unless Kim K accepts Kris' offer to agree an anullment, that baby is lawfully Kris' baby. A child born in wedlock is considered the husband's for child support and custody. If he wants custody, she will have to fight for it, and given her infidelity, busy schedule, and family drama, can she really contest her fitness as a mother? She should have got Kris settled before she started buying the baby wardrobe for the 'royal child' to be presented in public.... or court.

you do not have to be personal to be a people person. its requires a simple-hey how are you, what's new, heard your husband wasnt' well, how's the family. these are only basics but i find they are so important in allowing people

i can have a conversation with an 80 yr old or a 20 yr old...if an 80 yr old asks me to sit with him or her for a coffee..i would never hurt that person. i would stay the 1/2 hr and talk to him or her.... whether its an interesting conversation or a not so interesting conversation you have to find a medium in order to have people respond too you.
my grandparents were a such friendly people. growing up with them they taught me how important it was too express interest if someone is hurt, angry...sit down with them for a 1/2 hour if their family member is sick and they need to talk.
in business i've worked with the biggest pains in the asses of all time and the nicest people of all time...i was told recently that after all these years i still know how to get people to respond to me...sure i can be shy sometimes i need a push but when it came to business and doing what was right i made the right decisions.

Even her family members have said that she loves attention and now that she is trying to trap her cash cow (Kanye), she wants an emergency divorce. Get serious. Everyone knows that Kim wanted a fantasy wedding that focused on her and that is why she got married. Also, Kanye is not going to marry that girl. After the smoke and mirror haze wears off, he will wake up and end the relationship. I do believe that he will not marry her but he will be a dad that is involved in the child's life. Also, if he marries that girl, his career will suffer BIG TIME.

Perhaps she should just go along with the anullment if she is so concerned about her baby, but wait the concern is for her pocketbook because with the anullment she would be required to repay the millions she made off the wedding as well as the gifts the public and friends gave her and she has no intention of doing that. That was actually her second marriage, Kanye will be her 3rd. Kris wants an annulment so that the marriage doesn't count. He doesn't believe in divorce. He has agreed to this since the begining, but she won't do an annulment because she would have to admit fraud in which she won't. But, imo, I agree with you in that it was for show. If she would just admit that the money from the wedding was her motivating factor in going through with it (she showed graves doubts well before) they could have been done a long time ago. I'm not sure why she thinks admitting that would hurt her reputation, since she is famous for being shallow.
